Year Round Restaurant Style Salsa
Salsa is one of my favorite ways to add flavor without fat and
calories. Did you know salsa only has about 40 calories in 2tbsp of
salsa? Its the perfect addition to eggs, quesadillas, salads, or to dip veggies!
I love my salsa recipe because it only uses canned tomatoes (yep, you read that right) that means you can make it all year round.
Year Round Restaurant Style Salsa
1 (28oz) can diced tomatoes
2 (15oz) cans tomatoes with green chiles
1 white onion, diced
1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp pepper
1 lime, juiced
2 tsp minced garlic
Combine all tomatoes with juice in a large bowl. Add onion, cilantro, garlic, and spices. Use an immersion blender to pulse until it reaches restaurant style status.
