coming your way. Today’s recipe would make the perfect gift for any new
moms in your life. These lactation cookies are full of oats, flax, and
yeast that will help amp up your milk supply and that is the greatest
gift of all for nursing moms. I am done nursing but still find myself
making this recipe because they are so dang good!
Lactation Cookies 🍼
2 tbsp ground flax seed + 4 tbsp water
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3-4 tbsp brewers yeast or nutritional yeast
3 cups quick oats
1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375. Mix together flax seed and water and let sit for 5 min. Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs, flax seed, and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, yeast, and oats and add to butter mixture until completely combined. Add chocolate chips. Bake for 8 min.
(And no these cookies will not make you lactate.)
